Ethereum developers: The Ethereum Foundation lacks a sense of competition and is increasingly out of touch with the community
Eric Conner, an early developer of Ethereum, stated in a post on x that as Vitalik Buterin gradually steps back, the Ethereum Foundation's (EF) opacity and detachment from the community are becoming increasingly strong. He pointed out that EF currently exhibits a "anti-victory and competitive mentality," which has led many community members to question whether they should continue to stay. Eric stated that leadership, culture, and community are all important, but currently EF is more inclined to focus on "goodwill" and emotional issues rather than understanding the community's demand for change. As an early participant in the Ethereum ecosystem and one of the founders of Ethhub, Eric said he may have lost his passion for Ethereum, but still hopes that Ethereum can succeed.
