VanEck Executive: RIOT suspends expansion plan for the world's largest Bitcoin mine
VanEck Digital Asset Research Director Matthew Sigel revealed that Bitcoin mining company RIOT has announced a temporary halt to its expansion plan for the world's largest Bitcoin mine, located in Corsicana and with a scale of 600 MW. It will also accelerate negotiations with potential partners in the field of artificial intelligence/high-performance computing (AI/HPC).
The company expects capital expenditure to decrease by $245 million by 2025.
