OpenAI CEO: DeepSeek has weakened OpenAI's lead
According to the technology media TechCrunch, in a Reddit AMA Q&A, OpenAI CEO Ultron admitted that DeepSeek has weakened OpenAI's leading position in the field of AI. He said, "We stand on the wrong side of history in terms of open source. I think we need to find a different open source strategy. Not everyone at OpenAI agrees with this view, and it is not our top priority at the moment. We will produce better models, but the lead will not be as big as it used to be."
