Moonray Joins Web3 Gaming’s Console Push
This game first launched on PC through the Epic Games Store in July 2024. The game blends fast-paced multiplayer battles with Ethereum blockchain elements. This allows players to own in-game assets like skins and gear truly. Now, with the console porting process underway, the team expects to start playtests in the second half of 2025.

Moonray’s move to consoles follows in the footsteps of Off The Grid . This is a first-person shooter web3 game that debuted on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 in early access last October. While blockchain games are still finding their footing, breaking into major platforms like Xbox and PlayStation is a step in the right direction. “If Web3 games want to hit the big leagues, they need to be on consoles. That’s where the players are”.
