The HyperEVM mainnet is now online
February 18th news, according to Hyperliquid's official Discord, the HyperEVM mainnet is now online, introducing general programmability into Hyperliquid's high-performance financial system. The initial release of the HyperEVM mainnet includes:
HyperEVM blocks are built as part of L1 execution and inherit all the security of the HyperBFT consensus;
Spot transfers between native spot HYPE and HyperEVMHYPE;
A standard WHYPE system contract suitable for DeFi applications.
