"Crypto 'Godfather' Adam Iza's ex-girlfriend admits to $2.6 million tax fraud charges"

According to Decrypt, Iris Ramaya Au, the ex-girlfriend of cryptocurrency entrepreneur Adam Iza, known as "The Godfather", has agreed to plead guilty to federal tax fraud charges. Au admitted that she did not report over $2.6 million in illegal income to the IRS from 2020 to 2023. She used shell companies and illicit funds to maintain a luxurious lifestyle for herself and Iza, including buying luxury cars, real estate, and cryptocurrencies. According to a statement from the U.S Attorney's Office for the Central District of California, Au now faces up to three years in federal prison.
