Organization: Trump's bearish options lose potency, market fears uncertainty more
According to Jinshi reports, Siebert Financial's Chief Information Officer Mark Malek stated that the market fears uncertainty more than bad news.
Malek said: A 25% tariff is easier to digest than 'possibly 10%, possibly more, possibly less'.
Trump's put options do exist in reality, but their effectiveness is diminishing as traders begin to question this strategy. Tariff-driven volatility is not new, but this week feels like a replay of 2018 - only worse.
