Dragonfly executive: Ethereum Foundation should shift its focus from research-driven to promoting project development and investment
Ethereum Foundation (EF) is actively seeking community feedback and exploring operational changes, revealed Dragonfly managing partner Haseeb Qureshi. Qureshi pointed out that there is a sense of urgency within the organization after meeting with EF members at ETH San Francisco, and they are aware that the industry landscape has changed since 2020. He suggested that the EF leadership is actively considering how to replicate successful initiatives like Solana's Superteam, shifting the focus from research-driven to project development and investment. Qureshi added, "The Ethereum leadership has recently received a lot of criticism, and it's important for you to know that these criticisms are having an impact. They are listening, and are seriously considering how to adapt. This is a moment for them to learn." He also stated that the EF leadership is showing greater openness to external ideas and gradually moving away from a "not invented here" mindset.
