The state of Alabama, USA has passed a bill allowing the state's investment committee to allocate funds to BTC and cryptocurrencies.
It is reported that previously, US Senator from Alabama, Tommy Tuberville stated that he plans to resubmit the Financial Freedom Act on April 1st, which allows American citizens to include cryptocurrency in their 401(k) retirement savings plan. This will be his third attempt at pushing this bill through after 2022 and 2023.
