Chainlink Launches Community Rewards Program to Encourage User Participation in Its Ecosystem
According to CoinDesk, Chainlink is launching a new community rewards program to incentivize user participation in its ecosystem, with the first round of rewards being distributed by the decentralized data platform Space and Time (SXT).
The program, named Chainlink Rewards, allows projects based on the Chainlink network to distribute rewards to eligible node operators and community members in recognition of their contributions to network security.
Space and Time has allocated a total of 4% of its SXT token supply (200 million tokens) to participants in the Chainlink ecosystem, including LINK stakers. The first batch of 100 million SXT tokens will be available for claiming starting May 8, for eligible historical and current LINK stakers.
Chainlink Rewards is expected to expand over time, with more Build partners potentially participating in future reward seasons. While token distribution will be decided by individual projects, the overall goal of this program is to create new incentives for users to stake LINK and engage more actively with the Chainlink network.
