Star tech stocks generally fell, with Tesla (TSLA.O) falling nearly 4%, Nvidia (NVDA.O) falling nearly 2%; most bank stocks opened lower, with Bank of America (BAC.N), Goldman Sachs (GS.N), and Morgan Stanley (MS.N) falling by about 1.6%.
