Trump Hesitant About Sanctioning Russia
According to a report by Jinse Finance, on Wednesday, U.S. President Trump expressed hesitation about sanctioning Russia over the Ukraine conflict, stating that he does not want sanctions to affect the ceasefire. Trump said at the White House, "If I think I'm about to reach a deal, I don't want to do it, so as not to mess things up." Trump also stated that Russian President Putin might be intentionally delaying the ceasefire negotiations for the Ukraine war and expressed disappointment over Russia's recent bombings. Trump said, "We need to figure out if he is taking advantage of us, and if so, our response will be different."
