Iran Says Nuclear Talks with the United States Are "Completely Meaningless"
According to a report by Jinse Finance, Iran has stated that after Israel carried out the largest military strike against Iran in history, dialogue with the United States regarding its nuclear program is now "meaningless," accusing Washington of supporting the attack. "The actions of the other side (the United States) have rendered dialogue meaningless," Tasnim News Agency quoted Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Bagheri as saying. "You cannot call for negotiations while allowing the Zionist regime (Israel) to attack Iranian territory." He added that Israel had "successfully influenced" the diplomatic process, and that such an attack would not have occurred without Washington's approval. Earlier, Iran accused the United States of being involved in Israel's attack, but Washington denied the allegation and told Tehran at the United Nations Security Council that it would be "wise" to negotiate over the nuclear program.
