On the 22nd local time, U.S. Secretary of State Rubio called for direct negotiations between the United States and Iran during an interview with American media, stating that the U.S. was prepared to hold talks with Iran on the 23rd. Rubio reiterated that Iran may have a civilian nuclear program but cannot engage in uranium enrichment.
