Invesco and Galaxy Submit Solana ETF S-1 Registration Statement to US SEC
Bitget2025/06/25 22:04According to Jinse Finance, investment management firm Invesco Ltd and cryptocurrency-focused company Galaxy Digital LP have joined the race for a Solana ETF. Subsidiaries of both companies submitted a registration statement to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Wednesday, applying for the "Invesco Galaxy Solana ETF." The statement notes that, if approved, the fund will be traded on the Cboe BZX Exchange under the ticker symbol "QSOL." Invesco Capital Management LLC will serve as the sponsor, while BNY Mellon will act as the administrator. Galaxy will be responsible for acquiring the tokens. The statement also indicates that a certain exchange, Custody Trust Company, LLC, will serve as the custodian for SOL. Previous reports stated that earlier this month, the U.S. SEC requested Solana ETF issuers to update their S-1 filings, suggesting that approval may be imminent.
