Acala: Wormhole Bridge Temporarily Restarted, Closure Extended to July 14, Prompt Asset Redemption Required
According to Jinse Finance, the Polkadot ecosystem DeFi protocol Acala announced on the X platform that the Wormhole bridge for Acala and Karura has been temporarily reopened to allow users to redeem their assets, with the final shutdown extended to July 14. Previously, Acala stated that Wormhole had unilaterally announced the suspension of bridge services for Acala and Karura, meaning users would no longer be able to send Wormhole-wrapped assets from these networks. The originally announced shutdown date was June 18.
