US Weekly Jobless Claims Fall to Six-Week Low
According to a report by Jinse Finance, data released by the U.S. Department of Labor on Thursday showed that for the week ending June 28, seasonally adjusted initial jobless claims fell by 4,000 to 233,000, marking a six-week low since mid-May and coming in below economists' forecast of 240,000. However, the total number of continuing jobless claims for the week ending June 21 remained at a high level of 1.964 million, the highest since the fall of 2021. (Jin10)
