Amazon acquires AI wearable device maker Bee
According to a report by Jinse Finance, Amazon (AMZN.O) has acquired the startup Bee, which produces a $50 wearable AI assistant. Lourdes Zorro, co-founder of the San Francisco-based startup, announced the acquisition in a brief post on LinkedIn. Bee has developed a wristband that can record and transcribe users' activities, using this information to generate to-do lists and summarize conversations. Amazon spokesperson Alexandra Miller stated that, as part of the agreement, all Bee employees have been invited to join Amazon.
