Lotte Card Applies for Korean Won Stablecoin Trademark, Sees Potential in High-Value Asset Transactions Such as Luxury Goods and Gold
BlockBeats News, July 23 — According to Yonhap News Agency, Lotte Card Company has applied for 36 trademarks related to Korean won stablecoins, including brand names and codes. The trademark applications include "WONBIT," "KTOKEN," "LOCAMONEY," and others.
The company stated that Korean won stablecoins will be widely used in high-value asset transactions in the future, such as used cars, luxury goods, real estate, and gold.
