Former Goldman Sachs ETF Head Joins Centrifuge as Chief Operating Officer
According to ChainCatcher, as reported by CoinDesk, decentralized finance platform Centrifuge has announced the appointment of former Goldman Sachs Head of ETF Business, Jürgen Blumberg, as Chief Operating Officer. He will also serve as Chief Investment Officer for its affiliated institution, Anemoy. Blumberg brings over 20 years of capital markets experience from institutions such as Goldman Sachs, Invesco, and BlackRock.
Centrifuge is currently focused on the tokenization of investment products, with the platform’s total value locked exceeding $760 million. This includes a $400 million tokenized U.S. Treasury fund issued in collaboration with Anemoy. Recently, the platform has expanded its product line by launching a blockchain version of the S&P 500 Index and, in partnership with asset management firm Janus Henderson, issuing a tokenized collateralized loan obligation fund.
