Vitalik: Visa’s Founding Principles Were Decentralized, Much Like Today’s DAOs
According to Jinse Finance, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin shared a post on social media on August 8, discussing the lessons that the development of Visa offers for modern decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs). He pointed out that Visa, at its inception, embodied a decentralized philosophy similar to that of today’s DAOs. However, many people now view it as an exploitative or oppressive institution.
