Compass Mining and Onmine Launch 10MW Bitcoin Mining Facility in Texas
According to Jinse Finance, crypto mining company Compass Mining has launched a 10-megawatt Bitcoin mining facility in Texas through a partnership with Onmine. In an announcement on Tuesday, Compass stated that the facility is being brought online in phases and will be fully operational by the end of July. This marks the first time Compass has taken on daily operations, revenue sharing, and electricity price risk. The company noted that it initially deployed its own mining machines to verify performance before bringing in clients, and plans to dedicate the entire 10 megawatts to enterprise-level hosting by October.
