Canada announces the cancellation of several retaliatory tariffs on US goods
on August 22nd local time, Canadian Prime Minister Carney announced at a press conference in the capital Ottawa that Canada has decided to cancel several retaliatory tariffs on American goods, but tariffs on American cars, steel, and aluminum will be temporarily maintained. He emphasized that these measures are in response to the United States lowering tariffs on Canadian goods.
