According to CME "FedWatch" data, the probability of no rate cut by the Fed in September is now 0, while the probability of a 25 basis point rate cut has reached 90%. This probability is reported at 87% on Polymarket. In addition, traders have started betting on a rate cut in October. CME data shows that if the Fed cuts rates in September, the probability of another 25 basis point cut in October is 71.6%, a significant increase from last week's 48%.
