Kaia under Kakao and LINE NEXT announce the launch of Project Unify
Jinse Finance reported that Kaia, a subsidiary of Kakao, and LINE NEXT have announced the launch of Project Unify, a stablecoin application integrated within LINE Messenger. The application will launch a beta version later this year, offering payment, remittance, and yield services, and will be accessible to over 100 decentralized applications (dApps). The plan also includes support for regional stablecoins ranging from the Japanese yen and Korean won to the peso and Thai baht. However, promotion still faces challenges due to regulatory uncertainty in Seoul.
