The decentralized AI data cloud platform OORT has officially announced that former United Nations Ambassador Alexandru Cujba will join as a strategic advisor, responsible for driving global strategic partnerships and international market expansion. This move comes as a significant step following OORT's partnership earlier this year with the Blockchain Alliance International (BAI).
Ambassador Cujba brings extensive diplomatic experience, having served as the Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Moldova to the United Nations from 2008 to 2012. Currently, he is the founder and chairman of the Blockchain Alliance International. The organization has obtained consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and is dedicated to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals through blockchain, artificial intelligence, and Web3 technologies.
Strengthening UN Collaboration, Expanding Global Partnerships
As a strategic advisor, Ambassador Cujba will represent OORT in engaging with the United Nations to drive the company's participation and co-hosting of UN events related to artificial intelligence and blockchain. His extensive network within the UN system will provide solid support for OORT in expanding its global presence and establishing strategic partnerships.
Ambassador Alexandru Cujba stated: "I am honored to serve as OORT's strategic advisor, and I am committed to advancing OORT's global collaboration and international expansion, supporting OORT's decentralized AI solution to align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly achieving this vision through innovation and collaboration."
This partnership further solidified OORT's position in the international technology sector. Noteworthy is BAI's launch of the "Asia-Pacific Digital Economy Initiative" in Hong Kong in June 2025, marking a significant milestone in its global strategy and creating new opportunities for OORT to actively engage in United Nations-related sustainable development projects.
Diplomatic Expertise Enhances Technological Innovation
Ambassador Cujba brings over 15 years of service at the Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and various United Nations agencies, with a long-standing commitment to advancing cooperation among multilateral institutions, governments, and the private sector to address global humanitarian challenges through technological means.
Building on BAI's 2024 United Nations Economic and Social Council special consultative status, OORT will be able to directly participate in policy dialogues, including those of ECOSOC subsidiary bodies, the Human Rights Council, and certain General Assembly meetings, providing a unique perspective and contribution to the global development of emerging technologies.
