Caixin: The digital RMB blockchain service platform and digital asset platform will be built on the same blockchain infrastructure.
Foresight News reported, citing Caixin, that the digital RMB blockchain service platform and digital asset platform will be built on the same blockchain infrastructure, enabling dual-platform linkage and supporting Delivery versus Payment (DvP) settlement with a unified ledger. The initiative aims to explore feasible ways to enhance the quality and efficiency of financial services and reduce settlement risks within the current regulatory framework. The former is positioned to support standardized blockchain transaction transfer and on-chain digital RMB payment services, while the latter is designed to support the compliant issuance, registration, custody, and trading of digital assets on-chain.
