Burwick Law Firm Requests Dismissal of Charges Against Jito Labs in Pump Fun Lawsuit
Jinse Finance reported that Jito Labs and its two executives will be “dismissed without prejudice” from the lawsuit filed by Burwick Law against Pump Fun, after both parties reached a settlement following the leak of 5,000 chat records. The law firms Burwick and Wolf Popper, representing plaintiffs Diego Aguilar, Kendall Carnahan, and Michael Okafor, informed Judge Colleen McMahon on Friday that they would withdraw the allegations against Jito Labs, Jito Foundation, CEO and COO Lucas Bruder, and Brian Smith. The letter did not specify the reason for the agreement between the plaintiffs and Jito Labs, and Judge McMahon has not yet approved the order. However, a second amended complaint submitted by legal counsel last week indicated that one defendant would be dropped to “further narrow the scope of the case.”
