Bitwise: The 1011 Flash Crash Is Temporary, the Bull Market Will Continue
Jinse Finance reported that Bitwise Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan stated in an investment memo published on the 15th that after the 1011 flash crash, he used three questions to determine whether it was a fleeting event or something significant: 1. Did any major market participants collapse: the damage appeared to be limited to individual investors; 2. How did blockchain technology perform: many DeFi platforms performed perfectly; 3. Was he bombarded by emails, calls, or texts from investors: there was no reaction at all, and professional investors basically ignored this information. Therefore, he believes that the 1011 flash crash will not have any lasting impact, and the long-term forces driving this market—improved regulation, increased institutional investor allocation, and the growing recognition that cryptocurrencies are disrupting all traditional markets—remain intact. Over time, the market will gradually regain its vitality and refocus on the fundamentals of cryptocurrencies. At that point, the bull market will continue.
