According to ChainCatcher, citing Golden Ten Data, the US Dollar Index, which measures the dollar against six major currencies, fell by 0.04% on October 22, closing at 98.896 in the late foreign exchange market. 1 euro exchanged for 1.1609 US dollars, higher than the previous trading day's 1.1605 US dollars; 1 pound exchanged for 1.3356 US dollars, lower than the previous trading day's 1.3373 US dollars; 1 US dollar exchanged for 151.88 yen, lower than the previous trading day's 151.91 yen; 1 US dollar exchanged for 0.796 Swiss francs, lower than the previous trading day's 0.7961 Swiss francs; 1 US dollar exchanged for 1.3988 Canadian dollars, lower than the previous trading day's 1.4018 Canadian dollars; 1 US dollar exchanged for 9.4046 Swedish kronor, lower than the previous trading day's 9.4189 Swedish kronor.
