Romanian regulators ban Polymarket from operating in the country due to lack of a gambling license
Foresight News: According to DL News, the Romanian National Gambling Regulatory Office has banned Polymarket from operating in the country due to the lack of a gambling license. Vlad-Cristian Soare, director of the Romanian Gambling Authority, stated in a declaration that betting real money on the outcome of future events constitutes gambling and requires a license. The regulator will never allow blockchain to become a tool for illegal gambling.
