Bubblemaps: It is currently unclear whether the address messaging the Balancer hacker on-chain belongs to another attacker.
According to Jinse Finance, Bubblemaps stated that it is still uncertain whether the address claiming to represent Balancer and offering a $20 million white hat reward to the hacker in exchange for the return of stolen funds is actually Balancer's official address or another attacker. Previously, GoPlus reported, "Balancer made an on-chain announcement: willing to pay 20% of the stolen assets as a white hat reward to recover the assets, valid for 48 hours."
