Central Bank of Brazil: Algorithmic stablecoins have been banned

Foresight News reported, citing Zhitong Finance, that the Central Bank of Brazil has announced a ban on algorithmic stablecoins and is prohibiting the trading of these assets. The agreements reached so far remain valid, but stablecoin-related business activities must cease.
