The two companies stated on Tuesday that Anthropic also committed to purchasing $30 billion worth of computing power from Microsoft's Azure cloud services. In a video released on Tuesday, Microsoft's CEO said, "We will increasingly become customers of each other—we will use Anthropic's models, they will use our infrastructure, and we will jointly explore the market. Of course, all of this is built on our partnership with OpenAI, which remains an important partner for Microsoft."
