Jinse Finance reported that the Japanese government submitted a supplementary budget draft for the 2025 fiscal year to the National Diet on Monday, with general account expenditures reaching 18.3034 trillion yen, mainly to fund the first comprehensive economic plan under Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi's administration. This figure marks a significant increase from the previous fiscal year's supplementary budget of 13.9433 trillion yen.
