U.S. stock market opens: Dow Jones down 0.06%, S&P 500 up 0.09%
According to ChainCatcher, citing Golden Ten Data, at the opening of the US stock market, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 0.06%, the S&P 500 Index rose by 0.09%, and the Nasdaq Composite Index increased by 0.32%. Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD.O) rose 5.6% after Paramount made a $30 per share acquisition offer. Rivian (RIVN.O) dropped 2.5%, Tesla (TSLA.O) fell 1.7%, as Morgan Stanley downgraded the ratings of both companies.
