US think tank: Trump has signed more executive orders in less than a year since returning to the White House than during his first term combined.

according to the latest data from the Pew Research Center, in less than a year since Trump’s return to the White House, the number of executive orders he has signed has already exceeded the total number during his entire first term from 2017 to 2021. Trump signed dozens of executive orders at an unprecedented pace in the first few days of his second term and has continued to work tirelessly since then. According to the Federal Register, Trump has currently signed 221 executive orders, surpassing the 220 signed during his four-year first term. In comparison, Biden signed only 162 during his four-year term. The Pew Research Center points out that if Trump maintains his current pace, the records of his predecessors may be far left behind by the end of his four-year term.
