Data from South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, Upbit and Bithumb, indicates a remarkable surge in trading volume over the past 24 hours, particularly in altcoins.
When spot market data from the two exchanges are combined, it is seen that some altcoins alone have reached volumes approaching one hundred million dollars. There has also been a significant increase in liquidity in mid- and low market cap tokens, especially XRP, which is traditionally strong in South Korean markets.
