One massive order stood out, a single $37 million BTCUSD order on Hyper. liquid showing just how intense the selling became. Bitcoin took most of the damage, with around $962 million in $BTC positions liquidated in just one day. Most of these were long positions, meaning many traders were betting on higher prices and got caught off guard. Longs Took the Biggest Losses Across the whole market, long liquidations hit $1.78 billion, while short liquidations were much smaller at about $130 million. The big shock came after a strong U.S. jobs report, which killed hopes for a possible December rate cut.
