The South Korean National Assembly failed to convene the full meeting scheduled for today on the issue of cryptocurrency taxation
According to News1, due to disagreements between the ruling party and the opposition in South Korea, the Strategic and Finance Committee of the Korean National Assembly was unable to convene a full meeting scheduled for November 29. The meeting is expected to discuss tax reform, including postponing taxation on virtual assets, relaxing inheritance tax, and adjusting dividend income taxation. Although the ruling party proposed advancing 11 non-controversial tax bills, it was reported that the opposition rejected this approach.
