Trump confirms meeting with Xi Jinping! Easing expectations between China and the US ignite the crypto market, with bitcoin leading the rally!
U.S. President Trump has confirmed that he will meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the APEC Summit in South Korea on October 31. Following the announcement, the cryptocurrency market saw a broad rebound: bitcoin rose by about 2%, ethereum and BNB both gained over 3%, and solana increased nearly 4%. Analysts believe that the easing of U.S.-China relations and expectations of a trade agreement are boosting market sentiment, and the long-term bull trend remains intact.

- 23:28New York City mayoral candidate Andrew Cuomo plans to make New York a cryptocurrency hubAccording to Jinse Finance, crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett has revealed that New York City mayoral candidate Andrew Cuomo (@andrewcuomo) plans to turn New York into a cryptocurrency hub. The former New York State governor, now a mayoral candidate, intends to announce that if elected, he will establish the position of "Chief Innovation Officer" (CIO), dedicated to making New York City the "global center of the future." The Chief Innovation Officer will coordinate initiatives across New York City government agencies in the fields of blockchain, artificial intelligence (AI), and biotechnology, aiming to attract jobs and investment, and to advance the city's modernization in the application and integration of new technologies. Reportedly, Cuomo's plan also includes forming an "Innovation Council," which will consist of three advisory groups responsible for the fields of cryptocurrency, AI, and biotechnology. This council will provide expert advice on the promotion of technology applications in these emerging industries, workforce development, and streamlining administrative processes (reducing red tape).
- 22:41Vitalik Buterin: Hopes developers can express their performance in terms of ratios rather than "N operations per second"Jinse Finance reported that Vitalik Buterin posted on X, stating, "I hope more ZK and FHE developers can express their performance in terms of ratio (encrypted computation time vs. raw computation time), that is, 'time required for encrypted computation / time required for raw computation,' rather than simply saying 'we can do N operations per second.' This approach is more hardware-independent and provides a very valuable metric: how much efficiency am I sacrificing to enable encryption/privacy features for my application, instead of relying on trust mechanisms? This method is also generally more useful for estimation, because as a developer, I already know roughly how long the raw computation takes, so I just need to multiply by this ratio to estimate the overhead of encryption."
