- 20:14All three major U.S. stock indexes closed higher, with Trip.com surging nearly 15%.ChainCatcher News, according to Golden Ten Data, U.S. stocks closed higher on Thursday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average preliminarily up 0.16%, the S&P 500 up 0.3%, and the Nasdaq up 0.5%. Nvidia (NVDA.O) fell 0.8%, while Google (GOOG.O) rose 2%. The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index closed up 0.14%. XPeng Motors (XPEV.N) dropped more than 3%, Alibaba (BABA.N) fell 2%, and Trip.com (TCOM.O) surged 14.9% after earnings.

The Nasdaq rose 0.53%, the S&P 500 index rose 0.32%, and the Dow Jones rose 0.16%. Most large technology stocks increased, with Google up more than 2%, Amazon up over 1%, and Apple, Microsoft, Netflix, Meta, and Intel posting slight gains; Tesla fell more than 1%, and Nvidia edged down.

Zelensky expressed his gratitude to Guterres for his condolences and support to Ukrainian families who lost loved ones in the Russian attack on Ukraine on the 28th. During the call, both sides discussed measures that need to be taken to stop the killings. In addition, they also talked about the preparations for the 80th United Nations General Assembly. Zelensky said that Ukraine will organize important events during the assembly and looks forward to Guterres' participation.
